Take your playing to new heights with the Postmodern Telecaster® DLX Closet Classic from the Fender Custom Shop. This premium electric guitar blends vintage vibe with modern playability for the ultimate Tele experience.
The 2-piece select ash body wears a Journeyman Relic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, imparting the look of a well-loved classic. The rosewood neck and fingerboard (or quaretersawn maple neck and fingerboard) has a comfortable '60s Oval "C" profile. 21 Narrow Tall frets provide effortless bending while the 9.5” -12" compound radius offers smooth, fast playing.
A reverse Nocaster bridge with brass saddles provides rock-solid intonation while the Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted Tele neck pickup and Crushed '50/'51 Blackguard bridge pickup deliver classic Tele twang and bite. The 3-way blade switch provides access to a half-cocked wah tone, standard tone control, and wide-open "all knobs at 10" tone.
Other premium features include a Reverse '51 Modified Nocaster® Wiring, 3-Ply Parchment Pickguard, Reverse Nocaster® Bridge with Brass RSD Saddles, Vintage-Style Tuning Machines with Fender® Logo, Bone Nut, American Vintage '59-'64 String Tree, Deluxe Hardshell Case, Strap, Certificate of Authenticity.
